I've heard so many rumours about new versions of Kickstart and Workbench; does
anybody have anything closer to the straight scoop on this?
Will 1.21 (which I understand allows you to boot from hard disk) be released
before 1.3? Will CBM issue ROM upgrades for 500 and 2000 users (unprecedented
for Commodore)? In what form will 1.3 upgrades exist? Will it be just a new
Workbench disk (I saw a beta 1.3 in Toronto), a ROM replacement, or what?
Just curious, really.
