Clock on startup

Can anyone give me a suggestion as to how to get the standard Amiga clock
to appear upon startup in the border of the workbench screen as a digital
clock? I have tried setting tool types and putting the clock Icon in the
WBstartup drawer, but this does not work. Any suggestions are highly
appreciated.

Assumming that you are using AmigaDOS v2.04… here goes:
Copy the CLOCK into the WBStartup drawer. WBStartup should be a top
level drawer/directory on you boot partition (ahem, you are running a hard
disk too, aren't you?)
After copying the CLOCK, open up the WBStartup drawer and click once on
the CLOCK icon to select it. Then select "Information" from the WB menu.
In the "Tooltypes" area type (add) the following (one per line) DIGITAL,
DONOTWAIT, LEFT=530, TOP=0, STARTPRI=-2. Note: do not type the commas!
Hope this helps. If, BTW, you are using AmigaDOS 1.3 I'm sorry. This
was just an exercise in futility. 9-)

I've had problems with getting the Amiga clock to work properly on
startup. I put the program in the WBstartup drawer and made the correct
changes in "info" but the clock will not appear where I want it and it
won't start with the date and sweep second hand activated. I followed the
instructions in the manual to the letter.
