Hi everyone, I'm hoping that the forum can help me with aa dilemma. I'm im
Zone 6 and plan to grow chinese broccoli and bok choi. In fact, I've
started my seedlings this evening. Both packets advise against
transplaning these due to their propensity to bolt. Help!! Transplanting
is not a choice where I live. It's a necessity. Any suggestions on this
would be greatly approciated. I'm sure that someone has had experience
with transplanting these and hopefully had success.
Thanks again

hilary….one way to minimize bolting for seedlings started indoors is to
gradually "harden them off" before placing them in your garden. The more
gradual the temperature change the better. You might try putting them
outside in a protected area for an hour a day, then 3 hours and so on.
Sounds laborious, huh.
Good Luck.
