I am looking for suggestions as to what kind of grass seed to use to help
perk up lawn. It was seeded last year, but still seems thin in spots. I
have heard of a technique where you put down the seed NOW, while the ground
is frozen, and then when it thaws, the seed falls into the cracks and gets
a better start. Any thought?
I saw what looked interesting… a seed from Scotts called Spirit. I can
handle sun or moderate shade, moderate drought, and kids feet. Anyone ever
use it?
Thanks… Paul
Paul, two questions. where do you live? north? south? and do you know what
variety of grass is in Scott's Spirit? Finally, what do you want from your
lawn? stand up to rugged use; simple beauty? etc. Let me know and I'll be
happy to give you some ideas.
