I'm stumped trying to attain a certain effect in Microsoft Word 4.0 for the Mac. My company prints its manuals on ordinary 8 1/2 by 11 paper. We use a mirrored gutter on a landscape page. What we'd like to do is print each (odd or even) page *twice* on each page as it comes out of our PostScript printers, with an exact copy of the one page displaced to the right half. This way, we can easily give our printer these two-up masters, they can duplicate them double-sided, then cut them down the middle and out comes two perfect manuals, already collated. Am I missing something? Is there an easy way to do this two-up printing? Read action !

John, Take a look at DynoPage by Portfolio Systems. DynoPage is a print utility that allows one to do amazing things when printing from any application, including Word. A Demo is available here on CIS, so you can see if it will do exactly what you want. (Since such a capability is not built into Word.) You can get the DynoPage demo in the Mac "A" Vendors (go macaven) in the Portfolio Systems library. Mark Roebke Word for the Mac SL Read action !go macaven
