Paul, I too, looked into the Park's Starts, but I felt the cost was
a bit high for me. I also have been looking each year for alternative
mediums for seed starting. I never really gave too much thought to the fact
that placing hundreds of these foam wedges into the soil might present a
problem. I am an organic gardener, and just assumed that these would
breakdown, much like peat cubes. I will look into this and if you are
right, that will be the end of the Oasis wedges.

I have three teenagers, two in high school and one in college, and I have
had to cut back on my gardening alot, due to the tutition cost. So whenever
I can save a dollar, I look into it.
