Does anyone know if 2.0 Kickstart is available on diskette like 1.3? Or must I install a ROM product into my Amiga 1000?

There are some test methods of running 2.0 on a 1.3 machine available to developers. I haven't heard what C= plans on doing with the 1000 for 2.0 yet.

Sorry to but in, but do you think there any chance of a disk version of 2.0 making it out onto the market? Yours Hopefully! Whap!ping from sunny (!?) East London

Bob, My A3000 came with the OS 2.04 on disk. It was on the HD also, but I have it on disk. As a matter of fact, C= just sent me another copy in the mail. I guess that my machine wasn't listed as already having it. JOHN – The Lost Southerner!!

Bob, If you mean for the A1000…no, I doubt you'll see a disk version for it. If you mean for the A500/2000….again, not very likely since it would require expansion RAM and preferably…an MMU. If for the 3000, yes…it's already available. Don

My 3000 came with a kickstart disk but I'm not sure if you get one with the 2.04 ROM kit. I don't know of a disk-only version of 2.04 sold at this time. ….Mark Sterling 74335,1677

Mark You can order the 2.04 disk only version from C= Gold Service. It can not be ordered from a dealer. The part number is AS316. JOHN – The Lost Southerner!!

Well, I don't need it but the guy I was typing at did. I hope he reads your message. Thanks for the information. I didn't know it was available yet or that it ever would be. Did you get a price? ….Mark Sterling 74335,1677

Mark, No I didn't get a price on the 2.04 disk set. The dealer said around $45 if you could buy it. I presume that Gold Service stuff is pretty much free to those who qualify JOHN – The Lost Southerner!!
