What I have seen in various places is that the first fractal image
compression hardware/software is from Interated Systems (a Mr.
Barnsley being a principle). Most of what I have seen says that the
description of this stuff is very proprietary. On the other hand, I
saw a lead in one previous message. Try calling:

cannot be sure about this but it is all that I have. Sorry. The message I
am referring to came from the fractals section of GO COMART. Perhaps you
could start following that area and even leave a message.
If you have any more info about the use of fractals in the
stocks/options/indexes game, please keep me in mind and let me know.
Albert… Thanx for the info. I do follow the goings on in COMART,
but missed that thread. I am familiar with the work of Barnsley and
his partner, Dr. Sloan. Barnsley has published several items,
including a book (Fractals Everywhere) and a fractal design program.
