Looking for feedback concerning the use of CAD and rendering packages to be used for showing homeowners what their renovations will look like. What software, hardware, etc. would be best for this type of work? Any replies would be greatly appreciated….BCG

Hello Bryan, Sure, I will be happy to help. As far as the Rendering product goes, I would recommend 3D-Studio. It is a Modeler and a ~~Renderer which produces high-quality animations or stills. 3D-Studio also has a Materials editor built-in. The Materials editor can use GIF, TGA, TIF and many other images types as texture, bump and opacity maps. This product, combined with a high-end 486 computer will allow you to start producing images right away. It would probably be a good idea to visit one of our, Autodesk's, dealers and check out this product for yourself. That is the only way to really appreciate it. If you need more info just ask. – BrianS
