I have a Amiga 2000 w/2058 ram memory board populated with 2 megs. I've
purchased Professional Page version 2.0 and a 8372A agnus chip, which I
installed myself. When I ran the Professional Page, I got a message, that
the chip memory was low. After running a couple of system utlities, I
discoverd that the chip memory was still at .5 meg. Is there a jumper or,
some other config. procedure that I missed too invoke the 1 meg. of chip
memory? Also what is the easest, least expensive way to take care of the
interlace mode while running Professional Page? Anyone who could enlighted
me would be greatly appriecated.
All chip memory must be on the motherboared, because the expansion card
slots are on the CPU side of the buffers that seperate the CPU and fast RAM
from the custom chips and chip RAM. You should find that there are 16
empty sockets (or missing chips) on the motherboard (U517 – U532 I think).
If you fill this with 256-15 chips, you should get the 1 meg chip RAM.
