The current Supra driver is 5.3. It's in the Hardware Library and works fine with Quarterback. -sja

Steve, Thanks for the info….I wish that Supra had shipped me the current version since my HD is only a week old! Doug

Doug, You said your drive is only a week old.Did you get it from Supra or from a different party. My asking is because the newest Supra drives support autoboot and I've had one on backorder since mid October.I didn't like the idea of paying $50 bucks down the road if I wanted autobooting.I do have the 1.3 rom's in now so I would REALLY LIKE IT SUPRA IF YOU WOULD GET MY DRIVE TO ME……..please. Doug,we have bought alot of Supra products and have had very good support from them so I hope you are happy with the drive. Kurt L.

Kurt, I got the drive from my local dealer who order it for me from Supra, so it was actually shipped mid-December. As I understand it, they HOPED to have the autoboot version into production by 1/1/89. This is less important to me because I've got an A1000 and have to put in a disk reguardless… In fairness to SUPRA, my drive has worked flawlessly since I got it, and the new drivers have fixed ALL the quirks I saw previously. (I assume that SUPRA uploaded the new drivers, not another helpful soul.) My complaint was that I have spoken to SUPRA technical support a number of times to get up to speed technically and was NEVER told that I was using drivers with known problems! Otherwise Clark at SUPRA has been extremely helpful. Why not call them and find out about the AUTOBOOT?? They might be able to work something out. The number is (503) 967-9081 (Oregon). Doug
