#Mouse Trouble! — declared parent_msg_num=(none), resolved parent_id points to #(none)
The other night while sitting at my computer and working away I found my
self slowing down to a snail's pace and I couldnt figure out why! Suddenly
it dawned on me. It was my mouse! The lttle rodent was becoming slugish and
failing to point where I was directing it to go. Thereupon I shut-down and
turned the little guy over and opened the ball cage. Inside was shumtze,
dirt, hairs and other foreign matter. Using a tweezer from my wife's set,
I removed most of the hairs and dirt that had worked into the pivot points.
Then I cleaned out the inside the mouse's belly cavity with a swab and
alcohol. When I put mousey back together, it was fixed and acted as it had
when it was young and I resumed my task. I think this problem had been
going on for a long time but I compensated for the slow performance without
realizing how bad it was. From now on I will think more about that least
troublesome part of my system, my faithful mouse!

There is a female member of my family with long golden hair named Samantha
and her greatest delight is walking across my keyboard or just sitting next
to me when I work. She doesn't take much room but she insists on cleaning
herself while I work. A lot of the hairs in my mouse are gold! Dede has
black hair with gray and mine is on the silver side. Stan

If you cover Samantha with a fine layer of epoxy, you won't have that nasty
shedding problem any more.
Aren't cats supposed to be mouse killers though? She's only doing her job.

That could be the first documented case of a cat using hairballs to kill a
mouse (Yuck).

I am happy the good Doctor got around to it. I was going to propose it to
you, then I said Nah! Its not enough for an article.. I suppose thats why
he is syndicated. He though of padding it out with the theory! I always
thought it was magic!
