I would be very interested in finding out what the information that you
received on the Sun vs. Dos Question.
We are just in the process of doing these benchmarks but our focus in
comparing AutoCAD on the IRIS Indigo vs. AutoCAD elsewhere and I'm
interested in what benchmarks people deem important in comparing AutoCAD
platforms and what results othe rpeople are getting for performance.

So far no one has provided me with any hard numbers on Sun vs Dos. Everyone
I have talked to says that Sun is faster but they have only described the
differences in general terms. I deem regen time and plotting delays as
important. Also overall effiency is very important but dependant on
subjective factors such as comfort and ease-of-use.
