Craig, This is Steve again. The answer to your last reply to me is…NOPE.
We are not plotting from paper space. I haven't taught that concept yet,
but am preparing to sometime next month. My students are in model space and
only in a single viewport when attempting to plot a surfaced model with
hidden line removal answered yes.
I guess that for now, we will have to just issue the HIDE command within a
dwg and then plot with hidden line removal on in the plot command. Just
wish we didn't have to do double duty.

You don't have ANY viewport defined, right? If you do, you must plot from
paper space. If you don't, I have no idea what the problem is. I have never
heard of this before, so unless you are using a unique version of AutoCAD
(educational…) I must assume that something is wrong with the hardware,
AutoCAD setup, or the way that the drawing was created.

Craig, Thanks again. We are using an educational version of AutoCad
Release 11. I'll just have to re-visit our setup program to see if there is
an error.
