Stephen – digitizer not responding? Ah, God bless Summagraphics! <g>
In spite of being the most widely used and emulated graphics tablet on the
market, Summas are incapable of returning to digitizer mode after you've used
their mouse emulator mode in another program.
This may sound like I'm yanking your chain <g>, but if you move the puck off
the tablet surface when you start AutoCAD, you should be able to digitize as
normal. And if you do happen to forget this little trick, and you see the
"Digitizer not responding" message, instead of quitting out of the drawing,
just start the PLOT command and then cancel it. This will reinitialize the
digitizer a little more quickly.
