#FLI files

Hello,
Is there any way that I can grab a screen out of an FLI file? I have seen
a lot of anim players that allow you to step through the frames but not
save.

Uh, yeah, sure you can grab a screen out of a FLI file…you need Autodesk
Animator (or better yet, Animator Pro).
I don't know of any of the public-domain/shareware variety players that
allow "grabbing" a frame, but they could be out there.

Jeff, Yeah, thats kinda what I thought you would say. Kind of expensive
for just one time use though.
Thanks any way,
Mike
Mike,
For DOS, just load up a screen grabber program (like Grabber, pixel pop,
TGL, Hijack, Tiffany, etc.). Play the Flic with Trilobyte's "PLAY." Pause
the Flic (press the Pause key). Capture. (Grabber and Play are shareware.)
For Windows, use ADesk's Windows player to display and pause the flic, and
capture to clipboard with Window's PrtScrn.
Good luck, Mike Rose
Mike, I have tried several grab programs (screenshot and snapshot) along
with aaplay and they neither one would grab while the play program was
running or paused. Any ideas why not?
