Fractions / Upgrade

I recently was notified of upgrades on Adobe fonts I own for use with IBM/Windows environment. They installed fine – in fact, it was a much improved and much simpler installation. I noticed that some of the ALT key sequences in the "Standard Character Access Chart" have changed. For examples, the fractions 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 were replaced by what seem to be bullet points. I tried these key sequences out (ALT + 0 + 188) which used to give you 1/4 as a result, did give me a "sort of" bullet point at point sizes over 18 when using Korinna. However, at point sizes of 18 and under, I still get the fraction. Only problem is that everything on the printed line (and on the screen) is squished up, as if the spacing is not correct. Is it a fluke that I was able to obtain a fraction using these key sequences, and did not get the bullets? Is there a key sequence in the new version that *will* allow you to obtain a fraction? What makes it a bit more confusing is that the "Character Set Sample Page" does show fractions are available — just not *how* to get them!! As I said, you used to be able to use ALT+0+ 188,189 and 190. Not any more. Would appreciate hearing from you on this. By the way, was part of the improved package to allow better VGA screen font graphics? I was wondering… it looks good, but I don't think it looks much different than it did before. At any rate, thanks for your help. Regards, John Coy
