There was a mention of Caligari in the comparison of 3D programs (written
by Lou Markoya). It retails for $399 (I just picked it up today at my
local dealer for $320). Great interface; it appears that it renders ni but
does 32 bit computations, and (I don't think) doesn't save 24 bit IFFs.
