Hi James, Why not just call Commodore and confirm what the dealer told you?

Have you ever tried to get in touch with C=? I have and it is not a pretty sight. You are usually told by their ARU (which messages havn't been updated in a long time) that all their reps are busy, if you need additional help, call back another time. I had tried this for a couple of weeks and gave up. The unit kept freezing up so I sent it back today. We'll see if the replacement has a warranty card and proper styrofoam. Jim R. You aren't supposed to call Commodore in West Chester with service problems. There aren't any service people there. No wonder you were on hold so long 🙂 You are supposed to start by calling your dealer, then… (I forget the name of the people who contract fo C= service or I'd give it to you…) — Dale L. SMG I think the # is 800-448-9987 but I'm not sure. SMG has uploaded a couple of files to the libraries here (keywords warranty and/or SMG) that describe how to get hold of them.

Keep in mind that C= USA hasn't shipped CD32s yet, all of the units currently circulating are imports. Ben, Leigh's Computers

I have tried getting in touch with C= and I've never had much problem other than being put on hold, but you get that everywhere. Well, good luck with you CD32. Hope you get a good one soon.
