My CD32 came without warranty card, the styrofoam looked like they could fit a keyboard (but they don't … at least my 4000's).

I didn't get a warranty card with my CD32 either, is a trend emerging here ? I kept thinking I ought to write to Commodore about it but I never got around to it. I can't remeber what the styrofoam looked like though.

Thanks, it is reassuring. However I can't imagine why C= would want this info. What about recalls. What if the power supplies started causing fires? Wouldn't they need registration information to notify owners? ARGH!

Those are all situations under which Commodore would engage a top ad agency to launch a prime-time national TV campaign to get the word out. The budget for such a contingency is the reason they don't advertise product launches. 🙂 🙂 🙂 — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing — INTERNET:dale@iam.com
