Ok I gotta bone to pick. Guess what? Its C-Ltds bone. I ordered a C-Ltd Hard Drive controler for the Amiga 500. The hard drive I ordered is a Seagate ST277N 65 meg SCSI. I ordered that drive because I like Seagate and it was a little more in my price range. I opened the packages when I got them. I already knew how to assemble a Hard drive, but I read the manual anyway. The first problem was that the cable I got was a 50 pin parallel TO serial, and I needed a 50 pin male to female serial cable. I called C-Ltd and told them that I needed a 50 pin male TO female serial cable. They sent me another cable free, but it was a parallel TO parallel. I called them again, they sent another cable this time it was a female TO female serial cable. I haven't them called yet. I am writting you insted. My second problem is that in the back of the Manual it says the Amiga 500 has approx. 100 ma of power. The controler draws 250 ma, and that for the 500 you have to have a power supply added at the factory (for an extra $50). My Controler has no such power supply. I told the people when I ordered it that it was for an Amiga 500. So now I guess I have to send the controler back to C-Ltd to get this power supply added. Not only that but I have to pay $20. shipping both ways for something they should have done to begin with. All I can say now is that I am VERY displeased with C-Ltd. Mike Button
