Does anybody know if the HP1200C is compatible with 3D studio? Does any body
have any experience with this printer?
Thank You

Richard,
<< printer support HP1200 >>
on page 90 of the Installation Guide it describes the supported
hard copy devices. Most individuals will output their images
and print them from a program in Windows. Most printer
manufactures have writen drivers that will interface
with their printers in windows. There are shareware
programs in the graphics forum and windows has your
drivers…

You can print from Windows, but you will need to beef up the standard RAM if
you want to print full page, otherwise, I am pushing Image Alchemy, which will
convert files to HP RTL which you can dump straight to the printer and get big
images with no extra memory. Alchemy still isn't very friendly and it takes a
while to get the color right, but it sure beats all to not have to go to
Windows printing every time.

The 1200C ships with a very nice Windows driver which you can use for
outputting hardcopy from 3DS. You just need a windows package that can accept
.TGA or .TIF or .JPG (most all) and use that.
