Musicraft (when?)
3 messages in this thread
Has anyone heard anything about Musicraft? Will it have a good
library of instruments? What about the KEYBOARD? I really want a KEYBOARD.
If the keyboard has been cancelled, is there a way to find out what the
program expects in the way of input to the joystick/mouse port? I would
build one if I had to. Also, does anyone know if any software manufacturer
has plans for a full-featured synthesizer program? If not, this may be my
project after I get a compiler! -Wayne-
Wayne, I've gotten reports about Musicraft shipping anywhere from a week from
now to three months from now. I suspect it will actually be late May. As
to instruments, the demo versions allow you to take the instruments from the
two Audio Demo instruments disks, so there isn't really a dearth.
Keyboards… There is at least one company planning to release a MIDI
interface board for the Amiga. With that, you could hook up any MIDI
keyboard to the Amiga for both input and output. Finally… What do you mean
by "synthesizer program"? There are several music composition programs which
have some synthesizer attributes, if that's what you mean. I am writing (but
might never market) my own music program with more features than I've ever
seen in any other music program, including some very complex instrument
design stuff, but I have no idea if it fits what you want. –>Steve Bennett
