Thanks for the explination, setting the acadxmem & acadlimem will help when I
get our ram cards installed right. But that brings up another question; When
I bring acad up I get a message "Loading ACAD.LSP… error out of node space"
and on the next line "nil". What am I doing wrong and what is in the ACAD.LSP
file as when I try to 'type' it out I get the message like "propritery
AUTOCAD file". What you hidding in there? Eh?
Mark, if you get "out of node space", you probably have an inadequate
LISPHEAP setting. Read up on LISPHEAP and LISPSTACK in the Installation and
Performance Guide. Try SET LISPHEAP=39000 and SET LISPSTACK=5000. =SM=

What you probably got was INSUFFICIENT node space. What you need to do is set
your system environment variables. At the dos prompt type;
SET ACADFREERAM=24
SET LISPHEAP=40
SET LISPSTACK=5
Do you have AEC? From the sound of it your ACAD.LSP might be the AEC
protected lisp files. It could be some other third party software protected
lisp routine though.
