On my DESKPRO 386/20 Model 130, with Drive C: a whopping 130Mb under
Compaq DOS 3.31, I have found that AFLIX.LSP writes GREAT script
files, but *ZERO-BYTE* <.MVI> files……. no BIG problem, but I
can see where it could be….. (<.MVI>s are easy to rebuild……

Did I see a thread on this, somewhere? Is it LISP? Is it ACAD? Am
I dreaming? Do I have to re-FDISK my machine? Awwwww, poop. -ds

Don, I have a 40 meg drive in both the Sperry-IT, and the ACER 1100. I
don't think its the disk drive because the file is normally about 100 bytes
in size. Just today I had a client call me who is using the software on a
Compaq 386/20, (I'm not sure what size disk), and he had a case of the
dreaded 0 byte file! But…. He also kept getting out ostring space errors.
Could it be that AutoLISP is almost out of string space, but not enough to
tell you, then half way through writing my file it runs out, and then dies
in the process??? This way it would never tell me that it is out of string
space, and it just trashes that file??? I ddon't know. At this point I'll
accept any theory! —Mike
