Stewart – do you want to buy a copy of AutoCAD? It's sold only through a
network of authorized dealers, and you can find the one nearest you by
calling Autodesk's Dealer Referral line at 1-800-964-6432.
There *is* a new product called AutoCAD LT for Windows which is quite similar
to AutoCAD Release 12 for Windows except for a serious lack of programmability
and limited 3D functions. It retails for $495 and you can find it at places
like Egghead.
If you want to talk about AutoCAD, you should really be in the AutoCAD Forum
(GO ACAD). This place (GO ASOFT) is Autodesk's Multimedia forum, for support
and discussion of 3D Studio and Animator Pro.

One of these days you will be able to buy and AutoCAD R12 test
from me…But It's still being worked on… right now professe
software offers a test at around 200$. alternatively you could sign
up for the AutoCAD certification exam.
