#ECS to 31Khz how?

Hi I am reserecting my 2000 for a programing job. I wonder if anyone can help
me with a stupid question. I want my machine to come up in 640*400
noninterlaced mode. I do have ECS and can figure out how to do it. I'm trying
to use a 31Khz monitor and will avoid programs that flick into 320*200 and
640*200 modes. Any help greatly appreciated.
You need a hardware deinterlacer such as a FlickerFixer, CBM A2320, or
Flicker Free Video. All work.

If you have the super Denise, and WB 2.1, you have productivity mode. That will
give you 640×480, max 4 colors. You will still need a 15khz monitor for every
other mode. To be honest, get ICD's Flicker Free video 2. It installs under
your denise, leaving you video slot free. Not only will it deinterlace the
high res modes, but it gets rid of the annoying black lines in the lower res
mode. The effect is the same as Mode Promotion on the 4000.
Ok so let me see if I understand. ICDs gadget will let me operate 640*400 in
16 colour mode un-interlaced? That would be great.
