I am currently using an Amiga 4000/040 with PPage 4.1 & 14 meg of
RAM… I have found that the "Exit" bug on my system, at least can be
prevented… At least for a while. I have found that if I edit the file
S:PPage.DFLT to remove the SCM line (For the screen-mode definiton) the crashes
stop… At least untill the SCM line gets "munged" somehow by the exiting of
PPage… I have been using this for a while but I don't know if it might help
anyone else… I only recently saw the messages here online complaining about
it again.
Hope this works! I beleive it also worked on my A3000 when I tried
it…

That's interesting. I have been working around the same problem
by simply deleting S:PPage.DFLT before running ProPage. What a pain.
