The JStream support is in the JPEG loader. PAR saver (as you said,
thats in the DPS dept.). FLC/FLI wouldve liked to but there was not
enough time in this release, maybe next one. ADPro sticks to what it
does best (image processing) Ever heard "jack of all trades master of
none"? We like to consider ourselves image processing masters. Im
not sure what you are reffering to about the memory warnings? Could
be more specific about your definition of a "visual operator"? MPEG
would be cool but probably wouldnt be too useful 'yet' If MPEG really
catches on, it might be more useful. The render window is supposed
to dissapear when you operate or load a new image. If you watched the
old ADPro, the render screen would dissapear if you did the same
thing, Back then, you could not see the render screen while on
ADPro's interface.
If ADPROSCRIPTS: is assigned to the Commands2 directory, you can still
use the old hotkey scripts.
Going back to the 'jack of trades' stuff, ADPro has links to DPaint
4.5 & OpalPaint which are 'masters' in the paint dept. and OpalPaint
has great REXX support.
Did you ship via UPS? The reason I ask is because I placed my order 2
weeks ago and UPS is on strike at this time.

We started shipping last week (so the first week of your waiting time is
accounted for). UPS strike is over, so I'm sure you'll get your package soon.
If you want to confirm that we've processed it – give us a call (but please
bear with us – the call volume we're getting is enough to swamp our 10 lines).
Thanks for the reply, I'll wait for a few days. I'm sure it will show up.

Thanks for the reply.
About the JStream file, my universal loader told me unknown format..
Havn't tried Jpeg but shall do at work tomorrow..
About memory warnings: Generaly if low on chip for instance it
doesnt display anything only executes without any warning. If low on
memory in general, try saving to temp, it doesnt do it only looks so
without any warning at all.
About visual:
Take a peek at adobe photoshop 2.5 and try a balancing, and i think you
see what i mean. It actually shows you the effect in a smal window/icon
of your picture and when you satisfied it takes the whole picture..
I tell you MPEG is the way to go (IMHO)
You didnt answer my "area" thing like why can't you do any image procesing
on a spot/irregular area?
An operator for just drawing a mask that could be used on every other
operator/balancing/composing.. I think it would be very useful.
BTW. I love the new compose functions.
