Visual Link is one of the worst product experiences that I have had in the ten years that I have been using Autodesk products. Mercifully, they pulled it off the market. However, many of us were left <sobs, tears, cursing> ORPHANS after eagerly buying this product that never came close to its promise! Someday, Autodesk Orphans, owners of comatose Autodesk products (AutoShade, Renderman, Visual Link…), will conspire to SLAG this forum until buyers of discontinued products are offered some value from their liscences! I don't want to buy AutoVision, I already paid for it in dollars spent on sham products!

Dear Donald, I didn't know that Autodesk discontinued Visual Link, AutoShade, and RenderMan. I thought that AutoVision replaces AutoShade and RenderMan. I thought that owners of AutoShade and RenderMan can buy AutoVision for the cost of upgrading instead of full price. Jeffrey.

jeffrey, Really! Nobody told me about that… I feel much better about Adesk! Now, a word with my dealer! Donald

They should give an upgrade! No matter how they try to wrap it, and give false praise to it, AutoVision is really AutoShade 3.0 in sheep's clothing!
