Hey Gary- Thanks for the super quick reply. I'll start looking for hardware conflicts, as well as the mouse driver I am using. The Installation Guide (p. 92, first paragraph) states that 3DS has internal drivers for pointing devices. Does this read like I think it does, or does 3DS use the mouse driver that you load at boot-up? Joe

3DS uses the mouse driver that you loaded upon boot… only the tablet drivers are internal.

Aaaahhhh- Okeee Dokeee. I guess I just read the Installation Guide wrong. I have a feeling this is mouse driver related. Am testing theories now. Thanks a bunch- Joe

FYI – It was a com port problem (technically a user problem <g>). The mouse worked fine on com1 & com3. After testing ports, I found that I did not have com4 properly disabled. I did not notice this problem until I tried to use higher video modes, and that was with 3DS r.3; To be honest, I am surprised the video worked at all. Sooooo, thanks for the reply and the great product.

Excellent news, Joe. That was a simple one, compared to most of the hardware nightmares that we see here. Have fun! – G
