A quick question about SCSIdos_3.0… I installed it on my boot disk as per the instructions in the manual. I used the update program on the disk and it boots and runs fine (and faster =-) ) but for some reason the pure bit on commands made resident in the Startup-sequence return an error message saying "pure bit not set" any clues as to what's going on? The only thing I changed was to install SCSI 3.0 on the boot disk and on the HD, Everything else is unchanged. Is The DevInstall doing something funky that I need to Know about? Please let me know. Thanks Larry Diener 73465,1133 1/3/89

If you used the old copy program to move some files it clears out the pure bit – your best bet is to recopy from the 1.3 disk with the new copy. Ron

Larry, Ron was `right on the money' with his reply. DevInstall really is not the problem. Please make sure on the copy from 1.3 to your hard drive as well as your copy you used with your boot disk was done with the 1.3 copy and use the option "clone" in your syntax. That should take care of your problem. Fred –
