Well, I have finally had it with ATI. I would like to purchase a new video
card now. Any suggestions?? What cards support both v2 and v3 3DS and have
good reputations. I've had nothing but driver and hdwe probs with ATI's Ultra
Pro. I've seen many comments on Diamond's Viper— a general consensus or I'll
even take several individual opinions.

my feeling is to get a Tseng 4000/W32(i) based card – I use a Hercules
Dynamite Pro VLB at my client's office. It's very fast in DOS and
Windows, although not as fast as the Viper in Windows true-colour
modes. Flawless drivers for Windows and 3ds. Inexpensive too, about
$250-$300 for a 2mb version. However, if you want true-colour at
1024×768 in windows it won't handle it – the Viper might be better
for this.
