Michael– Thank you for the explanation. Another question, which I asked Christopher Tomie (who had also responded), is there an undelete (file) available? Pat

Patricia, There are two ways to search for files… the easiest way is to GO AMIGAFF which will take you to the Amiga File Finder… just follow the menus to search for a file by keyword. File Finder usually is about 30 days behind the in being current. The second way is to perform a libtrary search directly. From the forum prompt (!) enter LIB Choose a library (any will do, since searches are cross referenced to all libraries in the forum) Enter BRO LIB:ALL [KEY:<searchterm>] [AGE:#daysold] where: [xx] parameters are optional <searchterm> is the keyword you'd like to look for <#daysold> is how old the files in the search should be So, if you were looking for an UNDELETE command in the library uploaded within the last year, you might try: BRO LIB:ALL KEY:UNDELETE AGE:365 or BRO LIB:ALL KEY:RECOVER AGE:365

Michael– Thanks for the information. I had done a search for undelete, but found nothing. That's why I asked on the message section. I think the best thing will probably be to buy PCTools (which someone else suggested), or check out disksalv. Pat
