Well, I just recieved word from Cardco that their aMEGA board will be ready to ship in the first week of June. The price on it is very affordable and will be able to finally break that CHIP MEM barrier (grin).

Affordable? Still pegged at a suggested $549 retail?

Hey, it beats Tecmar's $995 for a meg. Anyway, if these guys don't make money they're gonna stop making this stuff. —Mike

I don't mind them making money (I like to do that on occassion too). It's just that in the June BYTE there is a company advertising 2 meg cards for the Mac Plus for $498 retail. There are more Amigas in the world than Mac Plus's. I'm personally waiting for the SideCar with it's sockets so I can add my own chips.
