I have tried the Pha$ar Tax program. The problem with it is that the tax
forms must, of necessity be little more than general templets of the tax
forms. This is necessary because the writers of the forms don't know your
accounting scheme. What did you call dividends payed on stock? DIV,
DIVIDENS, or what? I found it easier to do my own templets in Analyze!
and just copy the numbers as needed. I have used Data Tax for the past
few years. It is okay, but I really wish the Amiga had some of the neat
software that the PC does.
(No flames please. While the PC has lots of neat software, I
consider DOS, even with windows, a pitiful excuse of an operating
system. I refuse to use any computer with DOS unless you pay me for
it.)
