I was just wondering if anybody is using a genlock on professional basis? Currently we are in the middle of starting in a new studio, and it has an A4000, wich had a genlock (no name). At the moment we have toastered the first, and the second is out for repairs….In other words, I'd like to hear from you wich genlock you think is best for a pro studio. The only other thing I know is that one of the bigger problems was that it had to be hooked up to our sony seg, but the darn thing didn't have synchronisation, so it had to be hooked into the out line, instead of being used as an external effect. Thanks, Thor.

I have been using Digital Creations SuperGen genlocks for years. The output of them is perfect. Jim R. Ollick Using AP from Bergenfield, NJ
