Yes I have been able to load both the mono and CGA mode on the bridgboard.
You can not display both at the same time but for example you can be running
Lotus 1-2-3 in mono mode, generate a graph and look at it in CGA mode and
then flip back to the mono screen to see the spreadsheet. In fact now that I
think about it you could display both on the same screen by sliding the CGA
reen down ver the n creen. Hope I didn't confuse you on all this.
How do you get the other mode to display? When I run the other mode while a
program is running, I get a screen but there is nothing on it and there does
not seem to be anything I can do to get it to respond to keyboard input.
There is also a command in DOS that you need to enter for the type of screen
that you are using. If you boot the bridgeboard in mono mode then once you
are in DOS type MODE CO80 and then go to the workbench and run the IBM Color
Icon. You then find the cursor and prompt on the CGA screen. To switch back
to the mono screen you will have to type MODE MONO (in DOS) and then flip
back to the Mono screen. Look up the MODE command in the DOS manual that
comes with the bridgeboard and it will explain in more detail.
