Jim, I own ProWrite! (guess I should get that warrenty card in !!!), and am very satisfied with its performance. Henry indicated that he felt that the 1.3 drivers didn't improve speed any…although MY opinion (may not mean much) shows that on any printer the 1.3 drivers are almost 38-60% faster than with old drivers and smoothing is 80% better. 1.3 to me is really a very gracious update from Commodore.. Whooops! I said nothing about the 1.3 driver's speed. What I said was that I didn't think that ProWrite's printer output on a 9 pin epson dot matrix was as impressive as I had hoped. I have seen better done on those printers on much lesser computers. I don't know if the fault is with ProWrite, or WB 1.3 – I was hoping not 1.3 because the drivers have been praised so highly.

Sorry about that, I must have missed something somewhere…ProWrite on my 9-pin KXP-1080 (Panasonic) works really quite nicely…speed seems to be up there with the rest…but I did transfer the neww 1.3 drivers to my ProWrite disk.

Hopefully that's the reason (they're using older 1.3 print drivers).
