I've just bought a second-user (read someone else's cast-off) CBM A2620 (the big C='s 68020 accelerator) as a cheap upgrade for my A2000, and to stave off upgrading to a A4000/40 'cos I know that those b'stards at Commodore will release a fantastic new Amiga the week following me buying one !!! >-( After buying the wonderfully static-sensitive ROM's (no, I didn't have an accident) so the thing will work on my 2.04 A2000, I find that the method of booting in 68000 mode is no longer working, as holding down the two buttons at boot-time gives us the usual 2.04 boot selection screen. SO, just how do I boot in 68000 mode using an A2620 on a 2.04 A2000, or Or am I going to have to get out my trusty A1000 to test out my programs on a non-accelerated Amiga ???

Hold down just the right or just the left button (I forget which). — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing — INTERNET:dale@iam.com

Steve, I am assuming that you have -07 ROMs? If so the trick is to hold only the right mouse button on reset. This was changed so as not to interfere with the 2.04 boot screen. Dean DKB Software
