I now have TIPs AND TRICKS as you have suggested. I believe this to be
an extremely helpfull book. I also have received my #4 DISK, but alas no
magazine. Jim Butterfield seems to have a knach for making things simple enough
in his code, that I now have many examples running. Now, if he would only hook
into basic……

Jesse,
He just told me that his article tells how to use EXECUTE from AmigaBASIC and
that it will explain how to do what you want. A NewCLI would be generated by
using the EXECUTE command as outlined in Jim's article…
…you need to have a dos.bmap file in libs: or cd, but that can be easily
faked in by Basic if needed. He said his article rambles on through the
theory of it all, but it doesn't take many lines to do either job.
So when you get your TransAmi#4, that should answer your questions handily.
