There was just a thread on this very subject a week or so ago. I wish I
could remember what was the cause/solution to that guy's problem. Are you
using a memory manager-QEMM/386MAX? Things aren't real normal around here
right now for a couple of reasons, so if you don't get a real good response
you might try a week from now.

Actually, Roger's comment would be mine. Try a bland configuration, NO
memory manager, not even HIMEM.SYS.
Any chance that the speed of your upgraded memory is slow?
Check 3DS to see if it's recognizing the extra memory.
