I need to do a morph for a commercial. I was wondering if anybody could give me a ballpark figure on what a morph of this type might cost if I were to contract a production company to do it. It is a full motion morph lasting about 2 seconds. It is a frontal shot of a skinny guy morphing into a body builder. The skinny man will pull on a weight belt that he is wearing – and morph into the body builder while he is still pulling on the belt. The background is a gym (somewhat detailed) to it will probably have to be composited in later. Do you think this would cost $500 or $5000? I have no clue. I'd appreciate any thoughts here… Thanks.

On the Full Motion Morph, I'd guess around 2K, What needs to be done is frame grabbing 60 frames from each video source…then retouching each frame and morphing each frame 1/60th of the entire morph. Special attention needs to be made in taping the footage so that the source and target are the same size. If the camera isn't moving you probably wouldn't have to composite over the background.
