#Super BLACK?!!
3 messages in this thread
I dont get my SUPER-BLACK set to work! As the manual says this value
should set the lowest color value an object could have. This would
make it easy to distinguish from the background black who is always
RGB 0,0,0. A SUPER-BLACK value set to 25 should give the object a
lowest color value of RGB (25,25,25), 10% difference from pure black.
When I test this i get the following :
:(SUPER-BLACK) : (GAMMMA) : (DARKEST OBJECT VALUE):
—————————————————–
: NO : NO : RGB (0,0,0) :
: YES (25) : NO : RGB (1,1,1) :
: YES (100) : NO : RGB (3,3,3) :
: NO : YES (2.2) : RGB (0,0,0) :
: YES (25) : YES (2.2) : RGB (19,19,19) :
: YES (100) : YES (2.2) : RGB (35,35,35) :
—————————————————–
Values over 100 for superblack made 3DS exit to dos with an error showing
that the superblack settings where wrong, though it says in the 3DS.SET file
that valid settings are from 0-255.
Please help me with this, maybe I have pushed the wrong button or
something<g>!!!

I just tested it and it works fine here. Perhaps you should send Jonas a test
file and he'll take a look at it for you.
