Well, maybe 3-Demon is a dog, then? OK, let's have a race. Let's make a
tree. I use Sculpt, you use AutoCAD. I think my tree will look more
natural than yours. Obviously, if we were racing to build a house with
exact dimensions, AutoCAD's a better tool. Saying people won't use Amiga
programs to build AutoCAD objects is rather limiting, I think.

John, Don't forget that AutoCAD has a language ( AutoLISP ) that the
enables you to do complicated objects ( kind of slow but… ) . and your
tree I can zap in on minute by telling AutoCAD to give a cone then I will
just put a cylinder below it…and done BUT if you are doing a forest how
many times can you repeat this tree in Sculpt ( and how fast ?? ) well in
AutoCAD I will just tell it to array the tree so many times in the x or y
coordinates or even maybe in the z plane! I can shrink it , rotate and so
on and so on the bottom line is that I don't want to get in to a chat that
is trying to prove who is bad and who is better, so lets stop this chat.
OK, I accept your surrender. A cone with a cylinder under it is not a
tree, except to kindergarteners who also accept a tree as being a circle
with a stick under it. My point was about organic versus inorganic
objects. Duplicating and scaling and stretching an object is easy in any of
the Amiga programs.
