Alan,
<<(I used to do quite a bit of SCCA autocross back east).>>
Where did you race? I did quite a bit of racing in college, Penn State, Main
Campus.
Fred
Oh, no, another one? I raced SCCA out here in CA in '85 – '86 for
excitement after I gave up skydiving. So much for the "Listerine
Animation" thread! <bg>
Me too! I raced Formula Atlantic in Cal in the late 70's. Like to
have all those $'s back. But not at the expense of not having done
it. Skiing's Great. We've got 2 World Cup downhills coming up next
week. Come on out. We'll dust those youngsters. On a related topic,
how good is the PAR's video capture? If I'm using a S-VHS camera?
Hiya Jim! I going up to my place in Vail/Beaver Creek for the World Cup races
in March. Maybe I'll get to Aspen to visit Nick and check in with ya!
Hi Doug Nick's in Viet Nam now but I'm sure he'll be back soon. Come on over.
Keep your PAR on a leash, tho.

We're going to have to – the only one I'm worried about showing us up is your
nine year old daughter Brittany, who skied circles around both of us last year
in the mogul field on that double black diamond run! <g> How did she talk us
mature, macho dudes (read: oldsters) into that one, anyway????
The PAR video capture is excellent (needs the optional TBC-IV board). With
SVHS input, you will get a clean image. We regularly capture off laser disks
(the home kind) to show the capabilities, and everyone is amazed at the
quality! For maps, there is even a setting to use the entire frame, or either
field!

Otis AFB in Cape Cod, URI in RI, Someplace in Conn, and better parking lots in
the Newport, RI area!<g>
Never got into the bigger stuff.
