#A1200T

Where can I aquire technical schematics for the A1200, and possibly the A4000?
(Are they even available?)
I am toying with the thought of adding an external keyboard to my
A1200, (I really miss having a detachable keyboard to put in my
lap!) Anyway, it dangerous, voids my warranty, but I still want to
try it. Any suggestions to point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Chris
Chris,
have you tried Grapevine? They seem to advertise the maintenance
manuals for most Amigas. Their ad is a regular in AmigaWorld.

I'll give them a call…. thanks…
Also, WordPerfect 4.?? can be added to the 3.0 compatible software list!
Hope you get it.
I ordered and paid for an A2000 and A500 manual somewhere around 3 years ago. I
paid for both but got only the a2000. Customer service said the other was out
of stock. Well I guess it was out for a long time. I almost forgot about it
until about 6 months later and then they told me I should have called back.
The A2000 manual did save me a repair that I accomplished myself though. Found
an open resistor going to the Video port.
I just don't do business with them anymore.

I will agree to your Grapevine comment,
I ordered a 3000 Service Manual from them and was always
promised delivery "soon."
I just canceled my order and got it from SMG. You might
want to try there. Someone reading this thread should
have their 800 number 🙂
