I (Germany) don't know if this is true, you may tell me what you
pay in the USA for this:
3DSR3 : 4000 $
4 MB Simm : 200 $
486/66 Mainboard VLB: 650 $
Compaq XE 560: 4200 $
HP Laserjet IV, 2 MB: 1780 $
In other countries within (west-)europe prices are approx. the same. In
Switzerland, they are even higher, but this is relative because of their
standard of living.

I only got your message, not the ones before. Why do you talk about those
things? Looking at your CI$-ID I think you live in America. If there are more
messages about this, I would like to get them.
I was replying in response to a fellow in Sweden who bought a used,
legal copy of 3DS and was told he had to pay $1500 to register it. I
don't think that is right.
Based on the prices you quoted (Ich bin, zufaelligerweise, aus
Muenchen) I'd say European prices are around 25% higher than the US.
