#Human modeling
3 messages in this thread
Everyone,
I have been working on humans lately. I would like to know of any ipas
or plug ins that will allow for ease of construction and animation. A list
would be really great. Cost is not a problem. Well a little resonable would be
nice.
Thanks ahead of time

Mike,
Please see my message in the `Autodesk 3D Studio' section called
`Humanoid/KineModelz News'. If you have further questions give me a buzz. You
may need to set your date back a few days for it to appear.

Well, the Crestline stuff looks good, but their Kinemodelz will blow you away
(price/conditions wise). They sell one and the same stuff as Consumer Version
($300, no commercial application allowed), ProSumer version ($750, limited
licensing) and Professional version ($2000-5000, use for everything except VR
style games). The Humanoids package includes 2 men, 1 woman, 1 child, but no
clothing, so you might as well do your own…
So, you're better off trying to model your own, or, if you are looking for
simpler background type people (32 different clothed types) contact Schreiber.
I also have an extra Viewpoint CD (tons of great models) that you can have (for
free) if you E-mail me your adress etc.

P.S. If you have Digimation's Bones Pro, you can animate ANY pre-existing or
self-made solid mesh person, animal etc. easily…
