My font is designed to provide me with a few things I need for publishing
mineral/geology materials. It has everything as the extended characters (on a
Mac: Option key or Shift Option key). From what I have seen of the latest font
design software it would be simple to move these to any key, add them to an
existing font or a design a whole new more complete font. Should only be a
matter of a little time. For my uses, I have subscript and superscript numbers,
numbers with the bar over them for Miller indices, a few crystal shapes, and a
few special symbols.
It's a big help.
